Lomi Lomi & Kahuna Bodywork

Lomi Lomi and Kahuna Bodywork involve stillness and fluid movement. It is performed on a massage table with coconut oil. Lomi Lomi massage strokes help to free the energy in and around and available to the body, making it soft and promoting free and abundant flow of life energy in the recipient. Gentle stretches of the body and gentle rotations of the joints are also incorporated to assist the release of tensions and assist the flow of energy, not forcing, but feeling the level of the client’s resistance or comfort and moving only to that point. The circular, figure 8 and long stroking gestures work like a dynamic re-patterning process on body, mind and spirit to a deep level that gives clients the opportunity to realign themselves and change old non-healthful patterns within their bodies.

Apart from the possible therapeutic effect the major benefit of Kahuna Bodywork and Lomi Lomi lies in the client’s greater sensitivity and understanding of his/her own body and the healing that it needs. The work allows your Spirit, Mind and Body to come back into alignment. Underlying all sessions is the knowledge that everything relates to everything in the Universe.
